Birth chart, we are not

Current dasha: Mercury-Jupiter-Rahu-Mercury-Venus/Sun crossover

It struck me that our rising charts, or what most people think of as simply their “birth chart”, “natal chart”, or “chart”, is nothing more than a transit, a moment on that transit. Currently, Saturn and Jupiter are in Capricorn, Mars is there too, other planets elsewhere.

That means that in this present time there are souls choosing to come to Earth to reincarnate into a human body with a purpose. They will grow up in a world that thinks they are Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn, Mars too, etc. But that is simply the present moment that they were birthed into, it is not who they are. It is certainly a reflection of the material effects that they will experience in their chosen incarnation in terms of the placements of each planet’s birth with them, but their soul’s chart is different.

Who we are is a spiritual entity, whose real chart can be expressed more accurately in our Navamsha, a chart that some astrologers erroneously think is the chart of our partner. How outdated and patriarchal that is! We are souls, essences, aspects of the divine. If we want to study our partner, then we look at their charts; if we want to study our projections, beliefs, assumptions, and expectations of our partners, we can study ours.

If we want to learn about who we are even before we were born into existence at the moments the planets were in xyz when you were born, we study our Navamsha.
