4th Level Dasha Journal: Ketu’s Boundaryless Release

my favourite lamp in a reflection.

I never would have imagined that Ketu would have brought me the experiences he has. The last few days of this 4th-level Dasha Lord have been an incredible practice in observation of the not-so-subtle changes of energies he has brought, and thankfully has made me feel much less afraid of his Mahadasha in a few years at the peak of my Sade Sati.

Key experiences of this Saturn-Ketu Prana Dasha (4th) include:

  • letting-go (Ketu) of my apartment (Ketu is 4 houses away from Saturn, the higher-level dasha lord)
  • reconnecting with odd scattered spaced out friends online (Ketu is 11th-from Moon)
  • extremely easy connection to the divine (Ketu-9th house Sagittarius)
  • loss of faith-based rituals (9th) and straight access to the divine beyond trinkets
  • releasing (Ketu) friendships (11th-from Moon; Rahu in 3rd house of tricky friends)

I can break it down further:

  • Ketu-Ketu: Unusual spending and online shopping (11th-from-Moon), easy connection to the divine through Krishna Das’ “Shri Guru Sharanam” song.
  • Ketu-Venus: Spent money (11th-from-Moon) on beautifying (Venus) treatments.
  • Ketu-Sun: Noticeably clear awareness of my heart beat, as clear as day. Vibrant, clear, strong but alone and needing nutrients.
  • Ketu-Moon: Detachment of friendship through expression of feelings respectfully and as clearly as possible, not clinging to there being an impass in opinions of what was expressed (my experiences and needs); letting it go.
  • Ketu-Mars: Brief rage at missing a flight sale (thankfully I thought “oh goodness that must be Mars” and settled down with laughter; noticeable increase in blood circulation in my tongue
  • Ketu-Rahu: Presently churning out massive quantities of articles and writings (Rahu 3rd Gemini) online (Ketu 11th-from-Moon).

As Saturn is the superior-level dasha lord, I have also had extremely minimal intake of food. Saturn has had a very hard time letting go, through his freezing of my digestion and through his fear of illness and trauma. Ketu’s brief sojourn through this 4th level dasha has brought some support to the need to release, surrender, let go.

Let it go.

Om Ketuvey Namaha.
