About

Moonbird is a diary of my Vimshottari Dasha periods, a blog dedicated to an honest and sincere practice and study of Vedic Astrology, with a focus on healing from trauma and abuse through a spiritual and physiological framework (something very much apparent in my charts).

I am a woman, in my early 40s, in recovery from intimate partner violence, addiction, childhood emotional neglect, bullying, ptsd, and chronic illness. My BA (Hon) is in Philosophy and Literature, and my career is in teaching yoga, writing, dancing, and singing.

This blog is my creative and healing outlet to develop spiritual philosophy found in yoga (phenomenology, tantra of kashmiri shaivism, non-dual vedanta), with contemporary psychology and body movement theory such as yoga and osteopathy, for the purpose of forming original ideas that may serve myself and others.

I wish you healing, self-awareness, and love.
